Yes but these are high HP output built engines costing $15,000+ to $25,000

!

No built motor should cost anything near that much for the longblock, especially a pretty tame one where the goal is maybe 7-800 out of a V8-if you compare to the GM SB/BB/LS engines.

With a pair of BB turbos, intercooler, plumbing, full fuel system etc you could maybe get there.

I'd want quite a bit smaller turbos than whatever they're using. They come on pretty late for something that is only going to realistically see 5-6k RPM max.

It's too bad there's so little aftermarket support for the 6.2. You get more innovation and better prices out of competition.

But, my only other real interest in aftermarket stuff has been for the 4G63 which has a huge following going back to the early 90's.

Eventually, I'll probably get into it, but, not until the warranty is up.

A built 6.6L long block with heads and cams is over $20k from Livernois. Just the built short block is over $8k.

Seeing how there really is only one place that is building the 6.2l boss up at the moment its rather pricey. You can find mustang engines with aluminum race blocks for that price.

I am hoping that at some point a 6.6l built short block will drop to $5k and then I will look at going that route. Maybe even just High Compression build even

Don't misunderstand me, I'm digging what they have achieved here!
I don't really like the turbos sitting in the bumper or having the tubing run under the front diff. Like on some of the other builds.
And while there really isn't any confirmed info on what was actually done with this build, the numbers are impressive for a 4th gear pull.

I made those numbers high because if they are doing 800rwhp consistently they have more going on then just throwing a FA system on a stock long block.

I don't think the turbos are sitting behind the bumper, unless they changed it. They are sitting in the engine bay. Not sure on the tubing though.

You can build your own short block for much less than 8k. Call cp Carrillo and tell them what you want for pistons/rods. I think its funny when people say "well they're the only ones making them.". Diamond, cp, callies, kings, Winnberg. Will all custom build whatever you want. Our 2013 coyote mustang made 840rwhp on 8 psi from a Hellion tt and boss intake with a stock displacement forged short block from mmr. We had to stop because the twin disk clutch started slipping. it has the capability of 1100rwhp and we will soon be there with a t350.
There is no reason for more displacement on the 6.2. Forge it, keep the compression high, work the heads, huge injectors and aeromotive fuel system, tt, and blow the rest of your money on race fuel. Go out on the street 4x4 brake boost it and roast 4 tires to 100mph

Who makes a forged crank to replace the stock one? Pistons and rods are easy but I was unaware of any other forged cranks being available.
