Those who are ordering from various ford parts sites… are you leaving your order open if told the part is on back order?

I got the hvac panel with temp dials from eBay but not thrilled with it, has some minor blemishes but would prefer brand new on a brand new truck

It would be really nice if Ford installed the heated steering wheels and just left out the SCCM/Clockspring as then its really only about $500 to retrofit which isn't that bad overall.
I have a 2023 whiteout heated steering wheel but my steering wheel does have the wiring for the heated option, I guess I ”only” need the SCCM/clockspring and the HVAC dash

When I ordered the HVAC panel from Ford Fairway Parts it went on backorder for about a week or so, then shipped right out. Total time for me was about two weeks from order to receipt. Ordered about three weeks ago.

Digging into this little more for 23 Heated Wheel Retrofit, so if we want to have a heated wheel and digital knobs these are the associated PN#:

ML3Z-3F791-BB (Clockspring)
ML3Z-14A664-B (SCCM)
ML3Z-19980-K (Digital Knobs)

From what I can tell that's about $400 in parts to retrofit, am I missing anything else and are those the correct PN# per earlier posts?

As I understand it ML3Z-3F791-BB is an assembly, clock spring + sccm

FYI may still need the whole SCCM, as some of them are missing pins, even if you replace the clock spring.

Also, may need a wheel. Need to check if you have the heating element.

Couple of other small parts needed as well.

The problem may be finding the parts due to national backorder.
