I actually have everything but the SCCM/clockspring. Including a new wheel with the heating element even though I didn't check to see if my wheel had a heating element.

I am thinking of buying the kit from boosted grey goose as I am impatient.

I am a bit nervous to do this myself, but am slowly working up the confidence. If you would be willing to make a video or detailed photographic step by step, I - among many others I'm sure - would be really appreciative!
I’m into it right now I’ll make a few videos for you guys

It would be really nice if Ford installed the heated steering wheels and just left out the SCCM/Clockspring as then its really only about $500 to retrofit which isn't that bad overall.

My 23 came with the heated wheel installed 500 and I’ll be set hope yours is the same.
First of all, awesome and thanks for being the leader on this

could you take a few pic and some details on the specific parts from the kit and what was missing in the parts you took out of the truck as far as pins back and front. As I thought I understood it just the clock spring part itself without the wiper and steering attachments would have the right pins front AND back...

ML3Z-3F791-BB is the clock spring PLUS the wiper stalk and electric wheel adjustment attached in package

ML3Z-14A664-B is only the clockspring module.

What i am thinking now is the 14A664 might not have the backside SCCM included

I'm super excited to hear this, mine is a 23 as well! Sounds like with the $140 Ford was so gracious to give me I'll be $360 out of pocket, that's not too bad!!!

Alright guys install is done! Works like it should have from the factory. Tried to make a video to show what I thought would have been helpful for me to see going into this. I’m not the best filmmaker but if you guys have any questions feel free to ask!

Boosted grey goose also send some instructions that have the programming that needs to be done on FORScan.

You’re amazing. Thank you!

I’ll probably need help disassembling.

I’ll be messaging you when my parts come!

First successful swap! This is amazingly helpful that you also put a video together! Couple questions since I'm a bit new to this:

1.) My understanding is you can enable the heated wheel control into the digital climate controls/infotainment and not technically need the switch? That would mean I really only need the new clockspring and don't have to take much of the dash apart, not sure I'm that brave yet on a brand new rig. Although, you make it look rather simple overall!
2.) Another thought, if I did want to do the switch/climate control swap I wonder if it's possible to then swap to the digital knob (2021) at that point? Somewhat of a two birds/one stone type of thing and have to do Forscan edits anyways. Not sure if there are issues here I'm possibly missing.

I'm looking at it as keep everything "digital" and don't do any physical changes so to speak and keep the climate readouts and heated controls in the infotainment like 22+ or swap "oldschool" and go 2021. You could technically have the a unicorn of a 23 with R button, heated wheel, AND digital climate controls. Hell could throw in lighted cup holders for good measure ;)

For what it’s worth, the part I bought happened to come with the digital readout. Now- will it work? I have no idea.
