Had mine go out on driver's side... and I probably only used it less than a dozen times over it's life.
I have the Ford premium extended warranty, and they still tried to deny it citing "normal wear and tear" and also the fact it "technically" still worked even though it took literally 20-minutes before you could feel warmth after turning it on, haha.
Took a few calls, but they eventually covered it... reluctantly.
