O OK. Well thanks foe being honest. I think its to do with the upstream sensors not heating up as fast as they would like to

Thinking logically that would be my assumption since the aftermarket relocation for the sensors is significantly farther from the "natural" location. I would imagine a mesh wrap would allow heat to be evenly distributed "faster" which would help this "issue".

Wouldn't be something I would worry about unless an issue arises IMO.

I just want to add a thank you to all the members who have ordered their kits through me and to Stainless Works for all the backup and technical support. They have gone above and beyond in some cases to make sure the members here got the kits that fit their specific needs, even to the point of mixing and matching kits that are not readily listed or available on their website. The members here ROCK and Stainless Works is an incredible company to work with an order from, they truly set the standard in my opinion!

You'll love it. SW makes a great product. Second set of their headers I have owned and they are just as amazing as the ones on my mustang.

What did you use for a gasket and bolts???

What is everyone else who has SW installed using???????

Pretty sure bolts came in my packaging? Reused the Ford OEM gasket. Ford makes a good gasket. Not sure what everyone else did though. Ive always had stock gaskets reused or gotten new OEM gaskets for header swaps.

Yes they come with bolts but they are not locking. The stage 8 bolts will not back out as most header bolts do after the first bunch of heat cycles.

I plan on using OEM gaskets them maybe using some of the supplied rtv or copper rtv on each side of the gasket. Thoughts on this anyone?

I have the SW long tubes, installed myself. Did not coat but will when I yank the engine for the stroker project this winter. I purchased new gasket from the Ford dealer and used them. Have not had any gasket issues or bolts loosen up.
