I have Kooks Headers. They are uncoated. F*** they get hot. melted some of the plastic in the fender well.

When doing Long Tubes I highly Recomend getting some spark plug wire boots that are rated @ 1500deg cels.

If I had the extra coin I would of coated the headers, but did not.

The Headers get so hot it turns the pipes gold, witch IMO looks F*****g awesome! I love my Kooks

nice! plz share some pics when u get them in. i would love to see it. i am thinking of doing the black out. what cat back are u going with? cats?

o and u know the exhaust rules. VIDS or it never happened!

I'm doing the performance connect s tube mufflers with under bumper exit. I thought about lightning style but it is THE loudest. And I don't want my neighbors to hate me when I crank up at 4:30 am every weekday to go to work.

This prompted me to call the muffler shop. They have been delivered. Install next Tuesday. I'm pumped up.

Explain the the "help with cold starts" plz

Well this is coming from my tuner shop but with the normal headers our trucks have had issues when starting cold due to the O2 sensor relocation being so far from stock. I am no expert and hardly remember the lengthy convo I had with my tuner, it was a little while ago. I am not sure to be honest.

O OK. Well thanks foe being honest. I think its to do with the upstream sensors not heating up as fast as they would like to
