Yes they come with bolts but they are not locking. The stage 8 bolts will not back out as most header bolts do after the first bunch of heat cycles.

I plan on using OEM gaskets them maybe using some of the supplied rtv or copper rtv on each side of the gasket. Thoughts on this anyone?

With the S-8 locking Bolts & the High Temp RVT Silicone you should be fine. But using the Factory Gaskets will give you extra inshurance & peace of mind.

Thanks bane. I figure i spend a couple more bucks now so I am not pulling it back apart down the road to put new gaskets on

Good call... Where can you buy S-8 locking bolts and how do you know the proper size to use (length,dia)????

Summit racing has them. Stage 8 model # 8914. The size is 10mm x 1.25. Confirmed by multiple header companies.

Ok, so I bought my headers a few months back and never put much thought into the thermal coating. After reading this thread, I'm thinking that's what I shoulda gone with. I haven't had them installed yet. Is there a way to get them coated up like SW would at their factory or would I be better off trying to swap them for factory coated ones?

I can help make the thermal coating happen. We'd have to ship to the coater. Or, you may be able to find a coater locally. But I will make a phone call for you Monday if you like.
