Getting off subject. But if I wanted to touch up or refinish parts of the frame. What canned product would match that frame coating best?

i can try and contact PPG and see, but I make the electrodes that are used in the process. The actual paint i do not deal with.

Ah ok I hear ya. So PPG makes the frame coating. That’s right you supply the tanks and equipment.

Yes. I believe PPG or BASF is the supplier to KC And DTP. I can look into Monday.

From my contact that work on the assembly line at Dearborn. They our having a hard time getting chips and other parts for these trucks the last 2 days they could not even get a full shift done do to supply shortage. The spray in beadliner is done by a 3rd party contact. He said for every 8 f150 they build 2 raptor also throw in a few tremor here and there. He said it Essentially it less then 10 raptor a hour. If there only doing 1 shift a day (usually they do 3) that the issue

So if this is the truth, I hope then this means we will be seeing additional build weeks moved ie 8/16 to after or around our currant build week. If we see more moved to 9/27 I would assume that build week to be a placeholder date. I know that this week they were scheduling new f150 orders for 9/13. So it is possible that we might see some dates shuffled back in the next couple of weeks.

Perhaps. It’s also possible that the chip shortage is not the only problem, given this screenshot. If we’re dealing with multiple shortages, the late September build weeks that many of us got recently might be true build weeks and not mere placeholders.
