Here is my Issue. I purchased my 2013 from a dealer. In the contract we agreed that the current Recon HID headlights were an issue and needed to be replace. In the we owe contract the have put "Send factory headlights to him when they come in". Last night I received a set of Anzo USA Halogen headlights. I called my salesman and told him wrong parts. He and the parts guy are working on a solution. My thought is. #1 Do I hold them to the "factory" in the agreement? #2 Do I accept a substitute set like Morimoto, RR, or similar quality? #3 Be a complete ass and throw everyone under the bus and post negative reviews. #4 Wait and get a set of lights and send off the Recons to be retro fitted the way I want? Also if anyone has a link to other similar quality lights to factory, morimoto, or RR I would be grateful.

I just checked on Ford parts online and the hid headlights have been discontinued. I guess it will be hard to find factory replacements. Good luck.

Depends on what look you want or how much of a díck you want to be and hold them to the agreement.

Morimotos are supposed to be the best, i don't like the look of them....too like furturistic or something for the bodystyle for me

If you want that factory look, maybe see if they will go for RaptorRetroFits?

Last year I read the same thing that they had been discontinued.
SKU
111629A anzo don't look bad imo and it sounds like they got replacements from a decent company without spending 3 times as much for morimoto which may look better and have a few more years of warranty. Morimoto, or headers or cams is what I think when I see 1.5k plus items. Hope you feel like you aren't getting screwed. My used raptor buying experience was much worse though they gave me about 4500 in parts and labor, long story and much more to it. Enjoy the truck and try not to let this stuff ruin your experience with something you wanted that's supposed to be awesome. Don't be like me lol!

I won't let it bother me too much as I can tinker around enough to get what I have working. I ran down to my local body shop and talked with him and ran into the same issue with the discontinued lamps. The GM suggested taking in to someone local to me as I am 8 hours away from them. I like how the Anzos looked for the most part, shame they only support halogen models only. Might push a bit harder on some RRF's. Good news is, I might have a set of halogen gen 1 headlamps for sale once they decide what they want to do with them.

13-14 Raptors are the only Raptors with HIDs, so good luck.

The dealer can easily get them used from wrecking yards, but I doubt they'd be in great shape though unless they paid top dollar. Headlights take a beating anyways, plus most accidents that'd put a 13/14 Raptor in the yard take out the headlights, so they are goinbg to be rare in that regard as well.

I'd bet the PO pulled the OE HIDs and sold them on Ebay for $1000 each, then threw in the cheap Recons in their place and traded it in. The ones that came off your truck might even still be on Ebay.

Got aholdnof RR today. I am really going to eat into any margin they had on this thing. Might check ebay and see what they have to offer too.
Those RR's are like 1100....but didn't you say the dealer would swap them out? For stocks? Thats by far the cheapest closest to stockest replacement....Ithink?
