Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the priority code assigned to you also depends on the system used to place the order. The old CONCEPS order system allows codes 10 - 19. The WBDO system defaults to #19 and then goes up from there.
Defaults yes. Can be changed by person entering order to lower number yes

That is correct as well. I believe a zone manage can easily change to lower.

My understanding is priority code only matters for the dealer placing the order... if they have several orders, they can prioritize them. It has no effect outside the dealer you are working with.

This isn't good news for us: https://www.slashgear.com/ford-bron...averick-and-more-see-factory-delays-30680624/

Ford had previously warned that Q2 2021 could see roughly 50-percent of production lost by the chip shortage. Now, that’s extending on into Q3 2021. The Ford F-150 pickup, one of the automaker’s perennial best-sellers but currently a stock rarity at dealers, will now see reduced production from July 12. For three weeks, the Dearborn Truck plant where the F-150 is built will operate on a scaled back two crews.

I do know that actual orders are prioritized over stock orders. I am hoping that the chip shortage doesn't affect my delivery, but does keep trade in values sky high. I just checked Kelley BB for my truck, most would rate mine as excellent condition, but even very good is more than I paid for it as the trade value.

If that holds true, it will be a small check to write to have a brand new, paid off Raptor. It's one of the big reasons why I decided to jump on one now.

Curious. Because some people on here have productions the last week of July, while the rest of us start August. I think Raptor's are safe as they need to get these vehicles out and on the road, in comparison there are already new F150s and Broncos out there. They wouldn't have opened order banks if they knew ahead of time they wouldn't be able to produce (hopefully)

I'm in this boat as well... Feeling pretty safe about my 26JUL date. So much as I'm going to trade my truck in this weekend and cancel the extended warranty and use my dad's old f250 until it comes in mid august

You can get more if you just sell your raptor now. I just sold my 2019 and it was sticker at $70,500 2.5 years ago and got 69k. And I did not pay sticker 2.5 years ago so I made money. I think Gen2 values will drop once the gen3 hits the street.
