correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure ive read/seen where dealers can order vehicles/preorders ect and have them as a sold unit but then play the game that "customer backed out ect and it stays retail instead of stock? I know recently ford made it where you had to have Drivers Licenses ect so this couldnt happen, doesnt mean that its not still happening LOL. someone correct me if I am wrong, I know they used to do this!.

i think this a case where we know all dealers that had allocation for this round had to get their orders in whether they had buyers or not. most likely these are some that were not presold

But shouldn't they then prioritize the trucks that have actual buyers who have been waiting for months?

My assumption would be that those dealers ordered the same day we all did? Who knows! But it only has been 6 weeks.

well you would just have to keep track of one until it shows at the dealer

normally once it ships should be about 4-5 days to get to that area. its about 3 days to me by rail.

I am in the same boat here. Just sold my f-150 last Sunday. I got over book so there’s that. Can’t complain but damn.
