From the Bronco forums, some were receiving their trucks a week after the build date. I don't expect that, but I don't think it'll sit on the lot for an extended period of time waiting to ship.

Ford has too many unfinished vehicles filling up the lots to keep the completed ones hanging around, finished/sold trucks mean revenue. It also helps that the chip shortage is causing fewer vehicles to be completed, this is reducing competition for the shipping slots.

They may not sit on the lot, but once it leaves the factory, you are at the mercy of the rail companies.

At that point, it matters not if you are Pri 01 or Pri ***.

Shipping, like every other industry, is currently facing delays, labor shortages, etc.

One of the FP reps—I presume not the same rep who offered the 3-6 month estimate—told me last week that, after the build, it’ll take 2 weeks to QA and roughly 1 week to deliver. Lots of variables in each of those processes, obviously, but I think 3-4 weeks from the build completion is more realistic (and more consistent with what I’ve read in the gen 2 forum).

Some data points from the Gen 2 experience:

TLDR: Delivery is approximately 3 months from order date and 3 weeks from build completion.

3-4 weeks seems like the safe estimate at this point. I don't work with railcars but I do work logistics with Flatbeds and Vans and shipping isn't as much of an issue as it is production. I am sure the Ford contracts are good money, and right now seems the Raptor's are next month's priority so I highly doubt we will see anything as crazy as 6-8 weeks to ship after build
That's also just me being hopeful, what do I know lol

Btw anyone that has a build week of august 16 been given a build date yet? I just called since I hadn't called in a couple of weeks and don't have an exact build date yet.

Curious as well since my build week is 08/09. I plan on calling Friday the 30th to see if my build day is updated, that's about 2 weeks prior

I'll do the same but I absolutely hate this waiting game haha never had to wait for a vehicle i purchased in the past. Have always gone on the lot and negotiated a deal/drove out of the lot with the car. Just hoping my date doesn't get pushed back further.
