i dont know what you mean by not scheduled if you have a date and vin?then it is scheduled to week of 8/23
do you have an actual build date or a "build week"i dont know what you mean by not scheduled if you have a date and vin?
i didnt get what his post meant? still unscheduled?? then still 8/23?? then he has been scheduleddo you have an actual build date or a "build week"
I think you got posts confused.i didnt get what his post meant? still unscheduled?? then still 8/23?? then he has been scheduled
Did the info above show up automaticaly under MyAccount / Reservations and Orders when you were issued a Vin?
My salesman warned me that if I’m keeping calling the 800 number to ask for the status, my build date may get pushed forward…
I know it doesn’t make much sense, but I cannot prove what he said is wrong either. My salesman seems to be honest to me so far. What he told me about the dealer priority code 10 and potential parts shortage on 37” packages matched what I read on this forum. Once he give me the VIN, I will just track it on the website and stop calling FP. Even I call FP, it won’t get my build date scheduled earlier anyway
While I think over once a week is somewhat excessive, I blame Ford and the dealer model for not providing even basic info (I.e your order even being accepted). Some of us have to plan ahead for these purchases as well..Im not saying I don’t believe you but I find it very unlikely. That being said I can’t believe the people here that continually call FP. Don’t get me wrong. I can’t wait for my truck to be built and be delivered, but I haven’t once called FP. It’ll get here when it gets here. Try waiting 6-12 months for an NFA item or other items on back order in the gun industry. I’ve waited for over a year for a LaRue rifle in the past. It was well worth the wait. This too will be worth the wait.
