My salesman warned me that if I’m keeping calling the 800 number to ask for the status, my build date may get pushed forward…
I know it doesn’t make much sense, but I cannot prove what he said is wrong either. My salesman seems to be honest to me so far. What he told me about the dealer priority code 10 and potential parts shortage on 37” packages matched what I read on this forum. Once he give me the VIN, I will just track it on the website and stop calling FP. Even I call FP, it won’t get my build date scheduled earlier anyway

The sad part is we all shouldn't have to be calling FP.. We shouldn't be doing any of the leg work spending this much money. All it would take is an automation in the scheduling system to send out a generic email to the dealership of any scheduling dates for build weeks, days, hours. Or hell just update the Ford Tracking better.. Maybe they do and all of our reps are just clueless. But the fact that I had to text my rep that we had a build week and then it delayed a week is kind of embarrassing.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hell, even the way they've marketed the truck is an embarrassment. Without Youtube, we'd know very little about the truck itself.

I mean really. I have bought/leased 7+ cars from my guy who is also the manager and I still do not trust him 100%.

Agreed, however there has never really be "Raptor" commercials and or much media. I can not recall any Ford Performance vehicle marketing to the public (TV add etc).

Just called still unscheduled :( . Quick question as you guys may know more info on this. I wanted to add the power tech package to my order, and my order is currently unscheduled clean. My dealer said this shouldn't affect that in any way and wouldn't be an issue of pushing anything back. She said as long as I don't have a VIN i can make some changed and it wouldn't affect anything as long as its not something like changing to the Tire package or anything. Does that sound right?

Rumor has it scheduling happens Thursday afternoons. It would be a good idea to contact them tomorrow as well. I am also unscheduled, so it's really hard not to bug FP at least twice a day, every day.

No, I don’t. I just judge it by the facts. He has no agenda to lie on this one. If I’m the salesman, I would be happy that my customer can call and find out the order status themselves instead of bugging me every week. Sales should also want the order to get delivered earlier to get the payments.

Additionally, in our conversation, I just said I contacted FP for the order status(I used online chatting at the time), then he goes like “oh, you called the FP (800) phone number?” Apparently, he already knows the FP phone number before I say anything.
Somebody may lie to him on this, but I didn’t see the reason he would start the lie.

Just spokes to FP, my build week is 8/30/2021. Still not happy as i ordered it on 6/11/2021 via CONCEPTS. Thats 12 weeks.

Code orange, 37pkg, moonroof
