will never understand this kind of thing.
but, if you choose to do so, I wont call you an idiot for doing it.

the way I see it, its paint, that looks good. and yo uwant to keep it looking good right?
so lets slap on something to cover up that beautiful paint.....

well what the hell is the point of protecting it because it looks good, when all you're doing is covering it up so you cant see it anyways.

I get it, some people dont want to ruin the paint on their $50,000 truck.....
then why the hell did you buy a $50,000 OFFROAD truck? but a street queen if you are going to be so damn worried about keeping it in 100% prime condition. because we all know if you're like that, it aint gonna leave pavement. so whats the point.

just my $0.02

Simple answer for you: You don't own a $50,000+ (brand new) Raptor.

Raptors are almost always driven way more on the street than off road.

My Raptor is far from a Street Queen but I drive it daily and its condition is a reflection of me and how I take care of (a $50,000+ purchase) it.

I go off road and it get driven hard but I still would like it to LOOK like a Street Queen. :mfr_omg:

It wouldn't hurt for folks like you to walk a mile in another man's shoes before expressing opinions based on a self-admitted inability to understand. :Stupid Me:

Yeah, you can do a clear wrap that will protect your paint, that's probably the best way to go. I have it on the front of my truck and you can't tell its there unless you get up close, but it protects the truck from scratches. I wish I had put it over the entire truck.

What makes folks think that a Dirty Raptor is some "Badge of Honor"...if folks want to let it stay dirty their truck go for it...

Since when was it a sin to clean your truck and keeping it looking pretty?

Growing up on a Farm and seeing what mud, dirt and cow shit can do to a truck caused me to purchase several power washer and we would clean the truck along with the rest of the equipment we used weekly...magically they lasted longer...

A $50k truck is one thing...how about a $400k Tractor...

Just my .$02

Yeah I'm all for cleaning mine up after I get it dirty. It'll stay dirty for a week or so usually but then it gets cleaned up. That will hopefully change once I get ahold of a pressure washer.

Desert pin stripes may be a badge of honor to some but to me they're messing up a really nice paintjob that I don't want to pay to have fixed if I don't need to.

Tell me about it. I have a ding in my driver door from a piece of driftwood that wasn't happy I ran it over so it flipped up and attacked my door, there's a nice round scuff and a small ding there... I see it every time I get in. I also have some light pin striping that I absolutely hate. I've been trying harder to stay out of the narrow trails.

Yeah, "JUST" wrap it if you want to protect the paint.

As if spending 3 grand or whatever a good wrap costs is the highest thing on the life spending list (or #1 on the Raptor mod list).

I think I'll "JUST" win Powerball while I'm "just" doing it :party33:
