Has anyone done a full clear wrap?

There isn't much to see. I mean, its clear. 99% of the edges are all wrapped under. When they were installing, they removed the hood vents, the fender flares, the 6.2L badges, etc. The one area you can see a seam is on the pillar behind the rear door (Scab). Even then you really have to be looking for it to notice.

I should have thought that comment out...

Clear bra

From my experience 3m clear is only good for about 4-5 years then it will start to deteriorate and crack. The clear front bra on my Motorhome looks like hell now and that's in 4 years. Clear film will also scratch from brush and branches but protects your paint, So 5000 to clear it -Ouch. You could have a nice paint job for less

I had a clear bra put on the front of my truck in 2007 for 600.00 bucks,
No cracks or yellowing , best investment I did to the truck.

Condoms prevent minivans...

What about plastidipping the entire thing in clear?

Plastidip doesn't have as clear of a finish I don't think. I plan on wrapping the front, rockers, mirrors, and possibly the front edge of the fenders to protect from rocks. Might just buy some film in bulk and go to town on it myself though.

Offroading is fine, but a front with tons of rock chips is not nice to look at. Here in Alberta rocks are always flying and cracking windshields etc.
