Has anyone done a full clear wrap?

One of the local shops charges $100 per kit for installation. Dont recall the name but remember where they are. Will drive by and get the contact info if anyone is interested.

Busa,

You are either the most patient person or the craziest or both...you are going to wrap your whole truck AND post on the frf...

Wow...I about lost it just doing the hood...and that looks like the easy job...

well, knowing how to tint definitely helps with clear wrap. we used to wrap front ends of cars for the dealerships where i used to work, so this is all not new to me.

fyi - i have had my clear bra on my wifes minivan since i bought it in 03, still no problems to date

So how many man hours to wrap the truck? So you are going with a clear?

Did I understand that your wife drives a Minivan...that is 10 years old and you just ordered a $50k truck? Good for you...just please, friends don't let friends drive Minivans...no offense...

I had my front, full hood, both front fenders, and doors clear bra'ed. The doors were wrapped from the bottom of the windows down. Took the shop 1-1/2 days. This was done at Premier Protective Films located in Fremont, CA.

There isn't much to see. I mean, its clear. 99% of the edges are all wrapped under. When they were installing, they removed the hood vents, the fender flares, the 6.2L badges, etc. The one area you can see a seam is on the pillar behind the rear door (Scab). Even then you really have to be looking for it to notice.

If you are going to wrap the whole thing, why keep it the same color? 4-5 years or if you get bored with the color just remove it and presto new truck.
