Has anyone done a full clear wrap?

So I saw a post about paint being really thin on the raptor..

what are u guys doing beside wax?

Has anyone done a full body clear bra? wrap?

I considered it but got 2 quotes and both were about $5000. Will probably just do the rocker panels and the leading edge of the hood.

From my experience 3m clear is only good for about 4-5 years then it will start to deteriorate and crack. The clear front bra on my Motorhome looks like hell now and that's in 4 years. Clear film will also scratch from brush and branches but protects your paint, So 5000 to clear it -Ouch. You could have a nice paint job for less

it only deteriorates if it was stretched too thin during the application process. or if it was heated too much with the steamer.

Dang! $5000 ... thought it would be more like $2500-$3000
