So I saw a post about paint being really thin on the raptor..

what are u guys doing beside wax?

Has anyone done a full body clear bra? wrap?

I considered it but got 2 quotes and both were about $5000. Will probably just do the rocker panels and the leading edge of the hood.

we do clear paint protection along with window tinting at my shop, as well as car audio.

From my experience 3m clear is only good for about 4-5 years then it will start to deteriorate and crack. The clear front bra on my Motorhome looks like hell now and that's in 4 years. Clear film will also scratch from brush and branches but protects your paint, So 5000 to clear it -Ouch. You could have a nice paint job for less

it only deteriorates if it was stretched too thin during the application process. or if it was heated too much with the steamer.

$5k is a bit expensive, but i wont know until i actually do my truck and see how much time it takes

It's my understanding that 3m only give this product a 5 year warrentee, Am I wrong?
