+3 will give you 1 inch over stock height.

It removes the spacer lock which is 2" tall

Got that...thanks. Just got to see how the front end holds up at mid perch with taller springs. Only time will tell on that one.

By the way...who is a good vendor for Deaver +3 springs??? Some of the vendors on here only sell +1 and +2 Deaver springs.

Doing the progressive spring install tomorrow morning on a '14 with ~6000 miles on it. Would really like to do mid perch (ending up top-perch-ish height) but I'm still a little apprehensive. I will only be using 4 wheel drive in relative emergencies, is there any reason there'd be problems on a torsion equipped truck while in 2wd at that height? Also going to be towing a bunch but my load is light.

Gotta decide soon, let me know if anyone has input. I'll post up once they're installed too

Id go bottom perch and if it is still too low adjust it up from there. Id rather lower the rear than over preload the front springs

Yeah. I'd do bottom perch which will give you mid perch height if not a little more. Your ball joints and other suspension components will wear down faster regardless of if you're in 4wd or not.

I am in the same boat. At least one member on here with a 13 model has run at mid perch for over a year without any problems. Like you, I am just not sure but really would like to stay at mid pearch with these springs.

I went to mid perch to get away from the soft nose diving ride the truck came with. I won't go back. Is there any of this nose diving with these springs on bottom perch?

Since they are progressive and get stiffer with more force applied to them I would think not unless your making a slow deceleration.

OK, I've got a to say. lol
I remember doing coilovers on a 1/2 ton pick up that took me about an hour to do both sides. This took me three hours. With a lift. Maybe it was just my state of mind when I did it? It seemed like I didn't need to do all I did to get them in and out? At least the 2nd one took me half the time.
I drive my truck like I drove my track car. On dirt which is 50% of my driving I drive it like I drove my RZR-S.
My first impression on the bumpy asphalt streets wasn't a good one. I felt way to much response in the steering wheel where it was just the front end before. So it flattened out the street bumps up front but it all ended up in the steering wheel. The rutted holey dirt roads was a different story. Much better. Still more feedback in the hands than I like but what can you do? Collateral effect.
These are just from an hour and a half ride home, half on and half off road.
The pictures show before and after pictures up near the ass of my plow sander for scale.
Before springs, 40 1/2" from the ground to the fender lip up front and 24 1/4" from mid center cap to the lip.
After springs, 42 1/2" ground to lip and 27" from mid center cap to the lip.
Everything else suspension related is stock. The shocks are at BOTTOM perch before AND after.
I love while in the seat the front end isn't raked down.
It doesn't dive when in a hard brake situation like stock. It does a little but not much to worry about or be disappointed with.
Another note. I'm an **** mo fo. I over analyze everything and shit always has to be 4.0. (spot on perfect)
nuff said for now.

Sounds like they'd have too much preload on mid perch to perform well, for those that were considering trying it.
