I have had this idea for several years and finally picked up an adapter so I can move foreward with this project. The adapter is for 2015-2017 Mustang and I will know later tonight if it will fit the Raptor intake manifold. I picked up a spare intake manifold with throttle body from the Shelby ebay store a long time ago that I will use to test fit the parts.

The test fit was a success, the adapter fit the Raptor intake manifold perfectly and the GT350 throttle body bolted up with no clearance issues. The real test will be on the truck with fuel rail, coils, and heater hoses but I think it is going to fit nicely. I still have to work out the connection to the CAI so there is that yet.

Nice, are you planning to run it Na or are you adding a pro charger or turbo? Maybe this thing tunes better than the bbk somehow? I researched a throttle body when I first bought the truck. Didn’t seem worth the hassle. It would however be cool to see something positive even if minimal. I don’t see it being a fitment issue. Keep us posted

I would.imagine you'll need a tune to make this run right, but interested in results.

I'm running a Livernois tune now with a modified Airaid CAI rebranded as Livernois. It has been opened up to allow more air and caused a check engine light the first time it was installed. Had Livernois rewrite the tune for it and has been good ever sinse. Hoping the tune will adapt to the throttle body, fingers crossed.

Maybe ford tech can verify what my tuners response was. Apparently the electronics on this won’t jive up with our older ecu’s no matter what tuning device you use.

I ran the GT500TB with a Blower on a Gen1. Was pushing 700HP when I got done with it.

Well, the GT500 TB is 130mm (twin 65mm), you need that for Supercharging.
But the stock TB is more than big enough for the stock 6.2L engine, the stock motor is not going to pump any more air, unless you go with a bigger cam, bore the cylinder.

The Tunes that our Tuning vendors wrote max out what the stock 6.2L engine can pull in.
