Ok. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the little round tab that comes to the side of the actual connecting point is just to keep everything lined up and in place - right? If that's the case, then life is good.

Ironman - I know you know your truck better than anyone, so don't take offense to this question, but are you sure your brake lines are stock? I can't tell in your picture, but is there a small divot in your hub that looks like where our little nipple, tab, thingy would normally reside?

Just trying to figure this dilemma out before the lines show up.....

Well I see what you mean now on that picture, those to me look like they can be swapped. Then the only thing I can think of is the 2 lines that go up from the axle but according to the pictures that we've seen they look like they separate.
We need someone that has done a swap of the 4 pc to chime in.

My lines are completely stock and have never been touched yet.

Can you ask Crown where those extra lines are supposed to go?

Well on the 6pc you have 1 line for each side in front and then 1 for each caliper in the rear plus 2 from the rear axle to under the bed of the truck.
I was just trying to figure out which 2 lines in the later models that don't get switched out.
Now I'm assuming it's the 2 lines from the axle to under the bed.
but they look like they will so what's different is what I'm curious about.
I'm going to call Crown tomorrow and see if someone there can explain it better to me cause I haven't dealt with the 4 line scenario.

OK I just got off the phone with Crown and this is what I was told.
The 2 lines that do not get swapped out are the 2 rear caliper lines.
The hard line will not separate from the flex but if you want it swapped out you could have someone flare the end with the proper fitting then you could switch over all of the lines.

Pictures below show a 2014 and my 2010 connections.
