FB73,
Je suis heureaux de faire votre connissance. I lived in Lille for two years, and spent two weeks in Megev during the December-January vacation of 1986-87. The Alps were bare...brown grass as far as you could see. Finally learned to ice skate!
Bonne courage!

@Fb73 - did you ever do the LP conversion? How did it go? What was the install like and how does the truck perform now? Do you run a tune?

Stay safe!

@Yukon Joe Yes I did the LP conversion right after purchasing my truck, it's been almost one year now and I performed nearly 13 000 miles with it...To answer your questions :

- I have the chance to have one of the best LP conversion shop like 15 min away from home, so install went pretty good and fast...You really need to pay attention of where you drop your truck for the install, cuz there's a lot of assclowns here that want to install these kits to make some cash, but don't actually know sh*t about it !! I have a 102L (26 gal) tank in place of the spare wheel...

- How it works (sorry for the bad english !!): Under the hood you have a fairly complex system with two pressure relief valves between the tank and the Keihin injectors. The system runs is own ECM...The valves are plumbed on the OEM cooling system...Truck always starts on standard gas, allowing the cooling system to heat, so the pressure relief valves are heating too, to prevent a possible "freeze" of the system...When correct temp is reached, system automatically switches to LPG, you don't feel anything

- I don't run a tune like now, but will soon ! Jut ordered the SCV Tune and it should be here within a week or two...I believe it will affect the LP system, but as said above, it's all about electronic now, and I guess I will just go back to my LPG mechanic for some fine tuning, the LPG system has its own ODB connector like every car ECM...I think you just need to pay attention about octane rating as LPG octane rating is very different compared to the standard gas octane rating, but once again the ECMs are handling the job for us...

- How does it run ? Well to be honest, it runs perfectly. Even last winter in 3 feets of deep snow, pushed the truck really hard and still didn"t feel a power loss, just a slight increase in fuel consumption but it's barely noticeable, and well we all know the 6.2 is a gas guzzler...No engine trouble code or whatsoever...

- My only concern is about offroading. I had some wires on the injectors that I found cut off due to vibrations I believe, these systems are clearly not made for hard core offroading, but that was only minor issues & a quick fix...Other than that, I found it very reliable !

Hope this helps...I'm not the only Raptor owner here who runs on LPG, it's a very common mod here as gas is expensive, and everybody is pleased with these systems !

I had mine installed when i bought the truck new. Paid around 2500€ for it. My truck has 85000 km on it and it works perfect. When they just installed it, it stalled sometimes at wot, but the installer took care of it and works with no problems.
@Fb73, what brand is your system and do you still have the 80% of max capacity safety in your tank?
