I had mine installed when i bought the truck new. Paid around 2500€ for it. My truck has 85000 km on it and it works perfect. When they just installed it, it stalled sometimes at wot, but the installer took care of it and works with no problems.
@Fb73, what brand is your system and do you still have the 80% of max capacity safety in your tank?

Yes you can only fill up to 80% of max capacity, then the pumps here automatically stop...But a friend told me you have to careful when going to spain for example, there are some pumps over there where you could fill your tank up to 95%, but then it would block the whole system in security, depends of the pump I guess...

My install was more expensive, paid 4000€ for the latest Prins VSI system, double pressure relief valve to feed the beast, electronic flashlube (Valve saver oiling system)...never had a single issue, depends a lot of the tech who's doing the install I think...

Why are you getting interested in that @Yukon Joe ? I don't see many people interested by this technology in the US, gas remains cheap in your country (?)

I have the exact same setup. The installer tooktcthe 80% safety out off the tank at my request. My tank is 122 l and i can fill it to the max. Only thing i have to look out for is that i don't fill up to the max when it's freezing and park in a warm garage when it's full. The gas expands too much at high temps and the tank can explode. No problem for me, i always park outside and no lpg station close to me.

My raptor also runs on the Prins LPI System.
A very good system with no flaws.
I also have the extra valve lubrication, but that was not needed because Ford already has very good and hard valves.
@jef: I still have the stalling issue at WOT, how did you solve that one?

They retuned it. Fuel economy got worse but no stalls at all. The owner asked me if i wasn't a bit heavy on the skinny pedal.
Do you have one or two vaporizers?

Only 1 vaporizer, and that's the problem.
On WOT, it cannot provide enough fuel for the V8.
But mostly highway Mileage, that's good for me :)

This is a very interesting system. I suppose that our gas here in the states is very inexpensive compared to Europe.

I am always looking at alternatives, though. I have heard that LP is a very clean fuel. Doesn't leave the deposits like gas does in the combustion chamber and other fuel system components.

Is the only reason you guys use LP is because of the cost savings?

Yup. Difference in price is 1€ per liter.

It saves a lot !!
with an average of 22l/100km, it makes a huge difference.
LPG prices here are 0.37€/liter, while unleaded costs about 1.2€/liter.
So you do the math :)

lol. You do know that this doesn't make any sense to me right? I'm assuming that you mean 1 "euro" per liter? How may US dollars would that be per gallon? Remember we are the stupid ones that fled to America a few hundred years ago to escape the metric system........lol
