I've been a Raptor owner (2013 Silver SCREW) for a few months now.
I was a prior mechanic and always used to tinker quite a bit. Still have a highly modified WRX and a few other toys in the garage. The raptor was the answer to keep from me emptying the accounts with more mods. But we all know that will never really change. A mod here and there on a raptor is only a gas tank or three.
Took awhile to get the ball rolling since past forums have been hard to find decent folk that you had more to worry about members learning more about what you had to jack your stuff.
The members on the forum seem older, more reserved and more experienced with the ways of the world. (Less druggies and stoners if any.)
There aren't too many of us out there so it's always a little exciting seeing another raptor on the road. Everyone always seems squared away. One of the good things about the raptor is knowing that its not something you'd see a gangster rocking.
So far 6,000 miles on the clock, few fog lights and a bed cover. Got a few things in mind for the next mods. Been to Hollister, CA but Knoxville, near Lake Berryessa has been my favorite yet.
Hope to learn more from the crew. Stay safe.
