Anyone have a shiny steering wheel yet?
If so, when did it begin to occur?
Seeing so many wheels that look awful after some miles.

A picture would help us better understand what you mean but if it’s as I suspect you are most likely just seeing the built up oils left from your hands. Some leather cleaner and a stiff bristle brush should clean it up nicely.

I wipe all of our car's steering wheels down once a month. Not a problem, the shininess you are seeing is dirt and oil from your hands. If it's left unchecked it will permanently abrade the leather and make it smooth and shiny.

just gotta clean and condition it every once in a while. I wipe the steering wheel with clean damp cloth every time i wash the truck. Usually clean and condition the entire interior every 6 months.

Have just over 21k miles on mine and the wheel looks like new. I do wipe it down with a damp cloth every so often. You'd be surprised at how much dirt you'll pull off of it. I also don't eat in the car so touching the wheel with greasy paws virtually never happens.
