so i already have money set aside for a light bar and window tints. but within the next month i will have between $1200-$1500 to play with depending if i want to do some overtime at work.

im not, nor have i ever been, an agressive off roader type. maybe because all ive had was a Z71 that really couldnt do much.

ive had my truck for under a week. im interested in knowing what mods are viewed as "Necessary" and what mods are deemed a "good value"

like i said, im not agressive with my off roading at this point in time but i am not opposed to adding a little "insurance" to my expensive vehicle. so go ahead and list what you would do if you were in my shoes...and tell me why you would do them if you had an extra $1500. thanks guys and gals.

There is a good thread on here mods for 100 or less you could pick up a bunch on stuff. I think for that price range you should get some rear springs to make the rear preform better. I wouldn't worry about bump stops until you start getting rough with it.

For that price you could get some decent lighting from one of the various suppliers.

And like nohel said, check the thread for under $100 mods. Mind find something you like there.

I would do mid perch and a 20" light bar in the front bumper to start. That will still leave u some cash for tint and other small mods

Not really interest in a bunch of small mods. I'd rather pay a little more and get some suspension or steering upgrades. Make sure shit doesn't break when I take it off roading. Hahahahaha

I'm tinting my windows, putting a bed liner, a light bar, and a low pro antenna this weekend.

Due to not wanting to pay for 2 alignments, I'm going to do mid perch when I put my Nittos on

Then I'd look into RPG stage 1 for frame protection.

A stage 2 would be rate at his budget but if he's not beating alot I don't think it would be needed.

There's a few things you could get. Since you're not an aggressive off road driver "YET" haha start with steering! Tie rods are great for tightening up te sloppy steering the stock tie rods have since it has rubber bushings and better tie rods ie: outlaw RPG and others have hiem ends its take the play out of the steering for better control. Or you could do a power steering reservoir either icon or RPG both great products. Then you have a great selection of bump stop kits from most of the vendors here you can't go wrong with any one of their kits! You could also do te mid perch yourself or find someone who can do it. That's a great way to level the truck and take out the harsh nose diving action the truck has when braking but you still don't loose the plush ride! There are a ton of options man! Do what I usually do make a list of the mods in yor price range then from that list put them in order from the top being most wanted mod to the bottom being least wanted mod! Hope this helps!
