We’ll, couldn’t help myself and ordered from Goose tonight. 2 quick questions for guys that have done this:
1) were you able to lock your truck while sending the ecu in? I’m assuming disconnect battery, manual lock each door, and leave hood ajar so you can re-install ecu when it’s back to unlock doors?

2) what’s the top speed you’re hitting while data logging? About 85mph?

Thanks for the support man!

1. Yeah you have to manual lock the door(s)
2. Yep, right around there is correct.

One other question, looks like my battery charger is 5a. Do you think this will be ok if I start with a topped off battery and this charger attached? Or should I get a 10a charger?

The amount of time it takes to flash the truck is much lower than it used to be. I have no scientific proof but I do not think it uses that much battery to flash.

I don’t hook mine up either

If you want to run E tunes, this is the best ECA I’ve found. It includes an app that makes fueling very easy. It comes with a plug-n-play sensor that replaces a short section of the oem fuel line and bluetooth output so you view it on your phone, no gauge required.

I run it on my Raptor and FocusRS with another on my garage shelf for my ExplorerST.

Thanks for link just purchased one , soon stepping up to E50

I am very close to ordering, but had some issues on my GEN 2 with a COBB tuner that was tuned further by a local speed shop in Colorado. Mostly a good experience, but the truck went into limp mode everytime I took a long road trip...so I eventually just removed the tune and programmer and ran stock for reliability.

I think Goosetuned is of much higher caliber, so don't necessarily have the same concerns, but would love to hear a few testimonials from folks that have had this on their truck for quite a while, and driven in all types of city, off-road, and long highway miles (roadtrips).

1) Any issues at all....driveability, reliability, etc,?
2) I definitely like the dyno info...it tells the real story, but there is also just a "seat of the pants" dyno where the truck "feels" completely different..faster, better pull, etc. I currently have a pedal commander on mine, and while it adds ZERO hp, it does change the "seat of the pants" feel of the truck and responsiveness. For those that have this Goosetuned COBB and have compared the stock vs. the Goosetuned, can you provide any feedback and testimonials?? that would be great!
