I have only seen "E" and "C" rated tires in the BFG 315/70/17. Please direct me to the "D" rated tires from BFG in the 315/70/17 tire size.

I've heard and read great things about the new BF Goodrich KM3.
Seems like a great tire and quieter than the KO2 from what I've read.
I'd take a look at them.
Or the Nitto Ridge Grappler's.
I'm leaning toward one of those two when I swap out this fall

I’ve read that one draw back of the Duratracs is they only have a 2 ply sidewall whereas the BFG has a 3 ply. Is this true?

This.

I ran them on multiple company trucks - Ram 2500 and F-150's - along with my personal trucks for years. They will get louder - much louder than the KO2's - with the miles and you most definitely do not want to neglect to rotate them regularly.

Aside from the noise factor, they're awesome tires for those of us who deal with the winter mess.

I guess you could use your attitude to rebuke just about every post on the forum. Thanks for the big help.

You didn't apparently help yourself. So here, this is for your butt hurt:

Neither Goodyear nor BFG publish how many plies their tires have. You could have found that out for yourself, of course.

I'll be at the Goodyear store tomorrow morning to get my new set of Duratracs installed. If I can obtain some factory information about the number of tread and sidewall plies, I will certainly share it here.

Stick around FRF for a while. You'll like it here once you get the hang of it. It's a great site!
