I posted this question in another thread which I think was the wrong place to put it, so I am putting it here again. Sorry I'm new to the site, and will be in the near future a raptor owner.

My question is this, I went to my local dealer to talk about getting a 2011 SCREW Raptor, Molton Orange in color with the Orange seat accents, fully loaded with all the accessories available, (they will also throw in a spray on Line-X bedliner), and the final price I got was $54,253 out the door. Includes TT&L. Do you guys think this this a good deal, or should I look elsewhere?

I welcome your input on this.

I told the sales guy, I would get back to him by in 24hrs. They would want a $500 deposit upon my ordering the truck, and if I cancel the order, I loose the deposit.

:welcome: Hunger!

Hockster's calculations definitely seem accurate.

I would also recommend you Copy/Paste your original post in this thread and send it to Randy (username: HARLEY6LF250SDU) if anyone around here can tell you whether or not that is a good deal, it's him. He also may be able to deliver the same Raptor to you for less..... even if you do lose the $500 deposit.

Thanks everyone for the feed back on the price.

Birdman, I did take a look at the link, but wasnt sure if it would apply to my location, Hartford CT. I know prices vary across the country.

I did go to Edmunds.com and truecar.com, and they're showing that what I was quoted is above market valve. Now thinking this dealer is trying to take me for every penny they can.

If they wont go any lower I will just go elsewhere.
