Going To MOAB, where to start?

It'll depend on weather. But Moab is fabulous at any time of year. Onion Creek is still one my favs. Tons of little water crossings make it particularly fun. I also would suggest Top of the World if the weather is good, no snow and pretty dry. There's a few tougher spots, but you can go around the hardest spots if you need to. Going alone on those previously mentioned trails is probably fine, but you can also find others to go with just by asking around. Biggest thing, just have a blast!

Onion Creek is easy and after you get through the canyon it opens up where you can run 45-55 mph. Check out Red Cliffs lodge for accommodations. Awesome place and they have great rates this time of year. Someone mentioned Chicken Corners which comes off Hurrah Pass - nice run that isn't technical and ends at a great overlook. 1st Pic is from Onion Creek - December 2019. 2nd pic is overlook at the end of Chicken Corners

I am not sure when you did this, but the trail has gotten a lot tougher in the last year. Personally I would not take my Raptor on that trail. I do it in my RZR and Jeep, but some of the ledges have gotten pretty tall. Notice, I am not saying you CAN'T do it in a Raptor, just that I wouldn't.

If you just want a nice road on which to drive the family for some nice views, the La Sal loop is beautiful. For a little light off-roading, take the Sand Flats Road back to Moab. It takes you past the trailheads for Fins n Things and Hells Revenge.

I've done Fins n Things in the Raptor. It was slow going (not my thing) but the scenery was cool and the challenge was fun. Gemini Bridges, Potash Road, White Rim trail are all easy for the Raptor and have great scenery.

Spot on. If you do Top of the World, don’t do the “loop”. Stay the main trail. The loop is getting fun. . You could do it, but it will give ya a little “rash”.

You can do Cane Creek from Moab and come out 20 miles give or take north. There's a easy trail called Elephant Hill out there.

Schafer canyon road takes you into the canyon lands via east access. Really cool views and non technical, but the climb at the end of the canyon (road is graded) has some impressive relief. Might be a little sketchy if there is any snow since the road is shaded.​

Sorry, but you are wrong. Cane creek comes out south of Moab, and the end has really been chewed up. Elephant Hill is way south in the Needles district, and it is a reasonably tough trail. It is one of my favorites, but a 2 hour drive south of Moab including air down time. Again, I will not say you ca"t do it in a Raptor, but I wouldn't. You have to get a permit from the National Park, because they have rescued so many people on that trail.
