Coming from Miami, but going to go up to my Family Home in Gibson Island, MD and spend a day or so and then drive from MD to Michigan this way cuts the trip up. Going to do the same on the way back and spend 4th of July with the Fam before returning on the 6th

I'd say silent shooter has the record on this trip for travel, he's got scarrjack and I beat by about 8-10 hours and 500 miles. That's a long damn way lol

depending on the actual route taken google maps says:
Miami - Gibson Island - Grand Rapids = 1777 miles
Nova Scotia - Grand Rapids = 1468 miles
Edmonton - Grand Rapids = 1816 miles
add it ALL up and you get my wife shaking her head and wondering what the hell we are all doing, lol.

It will be about 1900 miles for me, but I am sure it will be worth it.
I am just hoping that I get my 87 eco tune before tuesday. I only noticed today that the eco tune they had sent me all those months ago was actually 93 not 87 like I requested. I only ever ran the 93 performance but for this trip 87 all the way to save a little on the gas bill.

It's about this time before a run I send out this friendly reminder;

Be sure to double and then triple check you have your Required and Recommended Items from page 1 of this thread.

Be sure to check all fluid levels and air pressures/tire condition. Be sure to check that all caps are secure and if you have a CAI, that all hose clamps are tight.

Be sure all items in your bed and cab are securely stowed.

Be sure to have the address of the Dunes, I-96 Speedway and the Hotel with you or in your nav.

If you have a handheld radio, be sure it's charged/has fresh batteries.

Be sure to bring cash for Raffle.

Be sure to ask any questions if you are not sure of something.

See you in 5 days!! :pepper:

Yes, CCs are accepted. I budget cash that I'm gonna spend or I would ring up a $1000 on the CC for the raffle. There is definitely a marketing strategy to the way Jason and Mark display all the goodies.
