This is Hailey, Daniel has turned off his phone and left the room. Therefore do not hold any of this against him. I'm tired of seeing him stressed over this entire situation. I almost registered earlier and posted on my own but he told me not to in order to avoid conflict, but feel I should say something. I think I know better than anyone else when Daniel is over the limit to drive. I, as well as the bartender, know exactly how much he had drank and know that it wasn't as much as everyone is trying to imply. If he was over the limit, he wouldn't have drove nor would I have gotten into the passenger seat. The fact of the matter is, we weren't the only ones drinking, whatever the amount. I know of plenty of people who were drinking on course among more than one group, however, we got singled out. And why? Because Daniel has a super eccentric personality and he is super outgoing and tries to be extremely friendly and overly excited about everything? Sorry that that automatically comes off as a drunk to everyone.. Sorry he had less sleep than most everyone else, I think everyone comes off as slightly crazy when they've had less than the amount of sleep a person needs in one night in a span of four days. And if you know Daniel, very little sleep and a lot of excitement probably makes him come off as slightly crazy but that crazy was mistaken as drunk. There were people who made it completely obvious that they had been drinking and used referenced to what they were drinking over their groups channel but nothing was said. But there was no proof they were drinking? We were aware that there was no drinking on the trail. No one said anything about lunch and for the past two years there have been plenty of people who drank at lunch with nothing being said. At the same time, if someone is "too drunk" there should have been other options open. But we weren't allowed to be part of the group. Something as simple as "hey bud, we are worried about how much you have had to drink. We would prefer you not to drive, but you can ride with so and so if you would like." By the way, We have had worse encounters than hitting some trees beside a cliff. It didn't bother me nor was a shaken by the matter at hand. I got out of the truck to help judge whether we should pull it out backwards or forwards and joked with a couple of members of the group about it. Last year there were much more sketchy situations in the desert than the tree/cliff situation personally. So don't assume I'm the reason that we left, because I'm not. We left because it's the same BS every year where someone finds something to say to us. Sorry that we aren't as high class or uppity as some and that we grew up in the backwoods in the south so we aren't as socially accepted as others. We know what happened, we know what was said. I was personally told first hand by someone I know for a fact knew exactly what was said in order for us to be taken off the trail that day. Oh and the stickers for snoball were never put on the truck, they are sitting on a dining room table at this point in time. They were going to be put on before we started the trail the first day but based on the series of events that occurred we never bothered to put them on since we were excluded from the group that day and had planned on leaving the next morning. Want a picture for proof, I'll show you. Therefore, the event itself wouldn't be held responsible for anything in the event something had happened. And you aren't the only one wanting an apology Wilson. We are glad for everyone who had a a wonderful time. But don't start talking smack to those of us who have a difference of opinion. That's all I have to say about the matter, I don't want to argue. I'm tired of this entire conflict and I don't appreciate being put into it when I didn't even have an account in the beginning of all this to defend myself.

Bottom line is a no drinking policy, and he drank... That's it... Supposed states of intoxication seems to be in the minds of people who were not there.

So the no drinking policy is in effect for the entire event? Like a zero tolerance policy?
