Just passing on the findings from the ecoboost f150 group. They all threw money away on exhaust systems only to find that the Walker SS Quiet Flow solves the problem

That's assuming that there is a problem. We all understand that you have a problem but personally I have zero issues with the stock exhaust.

I'm also not under some illusion that it will ever sound like a V8...it's not. If I wanted a V8 I would have bought a V8!

But thanks for regurgitating the same thing one more time!

You are right, it will never sound like a v8. This solution is getting rid of the exhaust noise completely so you can hear just the turbos. This is why so many have been running this exhaust.

Lol...no one is running that exhaust on this site, you included[emoji23].

I'm sure there are a few guys over in the other forum you mention day in and out that run them and like it but I would bet there as many that don't like them and run something else.

But carry on with your campaign Sas!

You missed that post

I've been actively "working with them" now.

I'll see what they say next

Guy,

Hope you get it sorted out or at least some sort of refund.

So the solution is Borla.

Word on the street says...

They are making An exhaust 10 percent louder than stock and will be good for 12-15 RWHP.

It has a muffler and a resonator similar to stock and will not drone at any speed.

The FOMOCO branded exhaust is Borla and will make those who buy it very happy as I'm sure it's very similar.

Anyone want a Slightly used Gibson exhaust? 450 + 50 percent of what it costs me to ship. It drones and moans, but it does make some decent performance. It's not my cup of tea but for someone else it may be a steal.

Just throwing it out there.

Independent side-by-side dyno sheets on the same truck, or it's ********. Hennessy made the same kind of claims, and made all kinds of excuses when challenged to provide dynamometer proof. They never did, and had me banned for life from that forum for insisting on proof. I am therefore necessarily skeptical when some outfit makes horsepower claims about CAIs or exhaust systems.

Proof. Or it's ******** marketing hype.

Are you sure about that? The 11-present ecoboost crowd has gone round and round with everything you guys are doing. They came to the same conclusion- drone and awful sound. The only solution was a performance system that quieted it down. The solution was these Walker SS Quiet Flow mufflers. I am just trying to help you folks out nd save you money, and frustration.

I would NOT suggest the Black Widow for this application. I run this on my 6.2 and it's fine, BUT, have heard on an ecoboost and it's terrible.

Seriously, the only solution is the Walker SS Quiet Flow mufflers. I guarantee that you install those, and you get the power and sound that it should have come with!

Shut the **** up, ****.

your totally right. CAIs and aftermarket exhausts are most the time a waste of money if your looking for performance increase. But people keep buying them without legit 3rd party dyno test data.
