So pretty much by the time I guy the x pipes and add resonators I've paid 1200 in materials plus labor for what amounts to mwa mufflers and tips that look like stock.

I'm not pleased in the least.

I'm back to ripping it off and sending it back!

Yep. I would do that and order the Ford Performance one. It'll look and behave better. Mine is here this week!

Just made a video. Just wanted to demonstrate highway speeds with Gibson MWA. I don't hear what you describe, but I can empathize with your frustration.

Wow....

Thanks for the upload. It's less than mine but at certain throttles I could hear that bellowing tuba sound... and you have a low level hum I can hear. so crap it's the MWA mufflers... granted if mine were that soft I probably wouldn't be bothered by it.... but take that hum... and you hear it more when you lug it... and amplify it... it rings my ears.

But man... that's telling... I'm thinking nothing I do is going to cure the problem short of ripping it off.

Ok. I think I have contracted tone deafness! Which would not be surprising, seeing all the time I was on a flight line back in the day and could have lost that frequency you mentioned :) I hear a rumble from the muffler, but it doesn't seem like droning.

Still only one solution to the exhaust dilemma on this 6 cylinder Raptor.... Walker SS Quiet Flow.... you get performance and it cuts the trombone sound out completely. The ecoboost crowd has used this for years.

Why would anyone get this on a Raptor? The factory exhaust is better than a Walker .. is this a joke?

So Gibson got back to me and I talked to their R&D guy.

Even though I was promised no drone... he fast talked about an acceptable level of drone. I told him this wasn't acceptable.

He confessed this exhaust is still "in beta testing" and R&D finished 3 weeks ago, but by helping me I'm doing them a favor to sort it out for future customers...

GREAT.....

anyway they promise me they will make it right and if needed will send me a new mufflers or whatever.

The first step they had me reset the PCM. What a joke... but I went through the motions. It didn't help.
