Lol. Reset the PCM. Did he ask you if you had a fresh tank of gas too?

I'm sure spending more money on this kit isn't something you want to do at this point, but my suggestion would be to try one of Black Widow's Venom 250's in place of the Gibson muffler. I believe you had mentioned that the kit was all bolted together with clamps so it'd only run you $125 plus a few minutes of your time to see if the drone goes away or not. At this point in my opinion it's worth the time and $ since I know Gibson makes a great product to try it out

They run straight pipe, to an x pipe, to dual mufflers. One on each side... then a short run to the tips.

I'm not sure there is a great solution to this problem. The MWA mufflers are pretty close to running straight 3 inch pipes.... they only drop flow by 3 cfm.... and I think that's part of the problem. They aren't mufflering anything.

If it were going to be a drag truck or for the track.... maybe that would be ok.... but not on the highway... and what has me burned up is that I was sold this was a drone free, driver friendly performance exhaust.

I don't have a lift so anything I do requires a trip to the shop because I'm not crawling under there trying to pry tubing apart...

I'll see what Gibson comes back with next and then I'll bag the whole exhaust if they don't have a reasonable solution.

I would NOT suggest the Black Widow for this application. I run this on my 6.2 and it's fine, BUT, have heard on an ecoboost and it's terrible.
Seriously, the only solution is the Walker SS Quiet Flow mufflers. I guarantee that you install those, and you get the power and sound that it should have come with!

Years ago I had a very similar experience with a Flowmaster muffler. I called them and described the problem, and they sent me a resonator free of charge. It solved the problem.

My advice to you is to call Gibson directly, tell them your concerns, and see what they'll offer. It's cheaper than spending more money, and you won't have to crawl under your truck. A phone call. Try it and see.

Have you ever posted anything other than pushing the Walker SS quiet flow or talking about your weep hole?

You may actually be the least useful person ever.

You missed that post

I've been actively "working with them" now.

I'll see what they say next

Just passing on the findings from the ecoboost f150 group. They all threw money away on exhaust systems only to find that the Walker SS Quiet Flow solves the problem
