The roof has some hardened steel in it. When we drilled the Raptor for Roof mount lights the top layer and bottom layer drilled very easy but the middle hardened steel was a PITA, and had to get a special drill bit for it.
Tiger cage makes some very interesting Roll cages that bolt in and bolt together. They are used in the road challenge racing, for the classic cars.

To eliminate the nannies chiming, I suppose you could buckle the stock belt then get in with it behind - between you and the seat. Then buckle up your lap belt and you are good to go

Yeah, you can also tell the nannies to **** using the process in the owners manual. I've killed it for my side, but left the wife's "unsafety alarm" enabled on the passenger side.

Good to know! I've been wondering how to work around that with my new seats/harness setup.

Yeah, i should have NEVER showed Brandi the speed on the GPS. She was "speed checking" me in the ribs at Texas Raptor Run.

Page 183. It says if you have MyKey, you can't deactivate though.

What harness did you go with? Will it work with stock seats?

Going with the Pro Armor 3" harness setup. I've got a full cage in the works so will be attaching to that.

Very nice. Just looked them up. Padded. EZ in & out. Cell phone pocket. Looks like they thought of everything. I hit the first bump at TRR and that was it for my phone. Later couldn't find it and it didn't ring. Thought it might have fallen out somewhere when I got out along the way. Eventually found it wedged up under the passenger seat. Had bounced around so much it had shut off. Lesson learned. Who is doing your cage? Your thoughts on the bolt-in's that in the works? My wife hates the idea of carving up my interior so the real deal is a tough sell
