Gen2 Discussion for Gen1 Owners

I don't disagree it will be a great truck... But exactly what 'realities before us' do you speak of? So far it's 0-1 and therefore unproven. Again I'm not saying it won't be a great truck because I think it will be, but why make exaggerated statements you can't back up?

uh huh....? I like the ecoboost myself and think it's a huge upgrade. But I would assume with as passionate as you seem to be that you surely have more reasons than just the engine..

Just trying to have a friendly conversation, I've never spoken to you directly on this forum so why the hate and accusations? Just because a lot of gen1 owners dislike the truck doesnt mean I do. I think it will be a great DD for me, and I think a stock gen2 will be able to handle most things the east coast has to offer with ease.

That's not true. I was getting stalked and had to change it. Many Gen I guys don't agree with my comments. I don't have a problem with that but I should be treated just as fairly, if not moreso as I haven't been around as long. This site needs a welcome mat for new Gen II enthusiasts and not immediately coin them the troll for posting something Gen I guys don't want to hear.

I've said it so many times....more power, lighter weight by 500 lbs, 10 speed transmission, better interior, I think it looks much better, more aggressive and modern etc etc etc.

There a plenty of new gen 2 fans that make sensible comments and are fully welcomed. You are not a member of that group, you made 1 outrageous statement after another, and any negative attention you received, you brought on yourself. Your comments create animosity with gen 1 owners that would otherwise have none.
