Gen 3 Grill Marker Light out

I’ve got a $200 deductible but I’m not even sure if lighting is covered.

If it's an electrical issue, why wouldn't it be covered? Or even perhaps a faulty light?

Yea Im not sure if its just not plugged in all the way, a bad harness or a bulb going out. I want to do it myself but cant find any information on if the entire grill needs to come off or if it can be accessed on top. If its a bulb going out it would be considered normal wear and tear.

Any updates on this? Here in NYC I will avoid dealer service at all costs, terrible to deal with them. I'd rather source the part and replace myself. Facing the front end, mine is the 3rd center marker on right side. I'm almost sure they'd damage something else trying to fix this..

Found a new light on Ebay, sold from a dealership. Good price. Anyone have experience with replacing this? Its the first of the three center lights closer to the Driver side. I lifted the rubber skirt and saw these lights are completely hidden behind the grille, cant just pop them out. Is the whole front grille coming out for this job?

Found a new light on Ebay, sold from a dealership. Good price. Anyone have experience with replacing this? Its the first of the three center lights closer to the Driver side. The whole grill has to come off but by any chance do you still have the factory battery? I just got a new battery and the marker light is always on now. I think this could have been a battery issue for me some how.

Interesting, lately I keep getting a message on Ford app saying remote features disabled to preserve battery, been happening everyday recently. I thought maybe the light was causing the drain. Just yesterday I pushed hard on the light and it came on. So what came first chicken or the egg im not sure haha. It coming on when manipulated makes me want to switch the light.
