how is the ride on the deaver +3HD when bed is empty? I have the retrax pro bed cover which I believe weighs just under 100lbs.

Same as stock. Definitely more planted, less hoppy.

Thanks for the responses....seems the HD Deavers are the way to go, not sure why you'd go w/ regular unless you were never going to put anything in the bed or tow......

Mine shifts pretty hard in Sport, which I like, but when towing a fast shift is better. Tow mode also often changes the torque converter lock up logic to keep the trans cooler along with changing downshift points as well...

Yeah try it to see how it works, but I'd use Tow when towing for sure...

Use the “tow” setting. It will keep it in lower gears when descending, too (if you apply break).

First medium distance tow with Deaver +3HD and SVC bumps. I did NOT lower the bumps in Preparation to tow, yet they worked wonderfully.

at full compression, are those ubolts slamming into the frame? can't tell if itll clear.
