And it's just as easy to get gen1 guys in nut swinger mode also.

Rather odd comment to make about folks who have actually owned Gen 1s for many years and calling them nutswingers. I would think the nutswinger moniker would be much more applicable to those who are defending/promoting/drooling over a vehicle that hasn't even been built yet. Wow, that's pretty rich!

My fault for using the wrong term. Perhaps gen 1 butt hurt could be used instead.

I sold my '14 last fall when prices were stupid high. I didn't care for it much. I'm giving it another shot this time with a '17. So ya, I had a gen 1 also.

And I didn't fire the first shot in that exchange by the way......

This is the gen 2 part of the forum where we talk about gen 2 right?


I get that all kinds of gen 2 idiots spew all sorts of BS on here, but man the gen 1 guys sure take the fact that there is something new coming personal.

I'd say they are pretty close to equal in terms of resemblance of the f-150 - err that is what the frickin truck is based off of, duh. When I see a gen1 I know its a raptor just as I will when I see other gen2 raptors, but I know vehicles so...I could see your me-maw telling you there was an f-150, but it had bigger tires on it and was bigger overall looking, but anyone who knows anything about vehicles will easily identify and know. And if not, who gives damn?!

I thought it was slow and it felt like a freight train. Most guys I know personally that have one just love them and that's great.

Only had it to about 8,000 miles or so.

So I am giving it another shot. If I don't like the new one, I'll sell it and go back to a regular f-150 like I have now.

After testing the '17 f-250 6.7, I will be picking one of those up IF I decide to trade the Raptor...I get and agree with your logic though
