Anyone make or no someone who makes brackets to mount Gen 2 running boards on a Gen 1. Saw a post where a member named SVOTL made them but am unable to get a hold of him or get a return message. Anybody else do it or no someone who did it and what it took. I would like to do it but factory mounts are 6” wider on Gen 2 then Gen 1 and therefore do not line up. Any info is appreciated.

Does anyone here have the measurements they used to make these running boards work?
Do you have a Gen1 SCAB or 4 door Crew Cab ? I had these on my Gen1 SCAB for 4 years . Just installed AMP power steps . Brackets are heavy duty will work for SCAB or 4 door. You may not like the price they are built solid 1/4 thick steel . Way stronger than factory brackets . 4 door truck not mine it was the guy i bought brackets from .

I can get pictures of brackets when i get home .

2013 4 door Crew Cab was debating installing the amp or rough country boards for the past two years I'm leaning towards the Gen2 or 3 boards, what are you asking for your previous set ?

Lot more complicated measuring and angles have to be right . I'm going sell the brackets only as they were built for a 4 door but will work for 2 door as I had them mounted on my 2010. They are very solid mount with no flexing . Only reason I'm selling . Gotten older ,fatter having knee issues that Why I went to powered boards.
