Legit answer? Told him to “send it”
The reason I am thinking it would be okay is because Lift kits that use longer shocks/springs are used reliably on other trucks and are recommended over spacers because they are supposed to be better on suspension components. So all I was asking is if longer shocks/springs are okay on other trucks why not ours? But that has been answered now with the raptors angles are almost maxed out from the factory where as other trucks are not. Like I said I knew shocks/spring lifts were safer to run than spacers on other trucks, I just wanted to know why shock/spring lifts don't work on ours.So in all reality, if you knew that adding a spacer that lifted the truck by 1-2” was bad for the geometry because of the INCREASED LENGTH of the suspension, what makes you think that adding 1-2” of height to the truck by adding LONGER suspension was any better?

I’m doing the front swap tomorrow on a buddies at my shop. Once it’s done we’ll post install pictures and how the ride, cv angles, and ride height are affected.

Should be ok after he puts on the limited straps. That will prevent the problem of it extending too far, which is the real issue with it.
