I live in CA also and have owned at least 300 vehicles, I never have ran a front licence plate ever. I have gotten maybe two tickets for it the hole time, just zip-tie it on and sign it off!

300 vehicles?! Good god, do you own a dealership?

At 300 vehicles, you'd have never needed to replace the dealer tags.

That's a new car every three months for 75 years.
