I'm happy with my 18 Gen 2. 106k miles and almost 7 years, just picked up a hybrid maverick and keeping the Gen 2 vs replacing with a Gen 3...
Cool- I just made the call to refresh/rebuild the suspension on my ‘20 w/ 79k miles vs consider swapping for a new on, instead gonna pick up a small fun 4 door car (manual trans mandatory) to take over the majority of my DD duties….Civic Si, Jetta GLI, Elantra N, Integra & WRX are on the list, whatever I can get the best deal on (seems like it may be the WRX but still shopping)

I too was starting to have really hard upshifts and downshifts with my 2020. Thank heavens I purchased a 100K extended warranty, so at 75k miles, took it into Ford today for a transmission rebuild. Only a $100 deductible.

Still love the truck, but ordered a 2025 just in case.

98k miles 2018. Just did spark plugs, transmission fluid and coolant flush. Ive never rebuilt the shocks but don’t really notice anything different. Maybe its just slowly decaying that I don’t notice...

Also every 1/100 times I come to a complete stop the truck has rough idling. No sound so maybe not cam phaser. I did throw a couple codes but they went away on their own and didnt come back so non issue?

Codes are P0011 A Camshaft Position Timing Over - Advanced Or System Performance Bank 1 & P0016 Crankshaft Position Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A. Its from a cheap OBD2 reader so maybe not the most accurate. Anyone think it could be just a bad sensor or is it most likely cam phasers? I did have cam phasers done once before under warranty so I know that sound.
