Hello, tried to look around the forums but there’s mostly pictures of aftermarket shackles. Can someone confirm if my oem shackle orientation is correct. Installed deavers and waiting on bump stops but hearing clunk over speed bumps and sometimes uneven roads on low speed.

Edit: took it to the shop to confirm. They’re unsure. Another gen 1 raptor came in and they looked at it and said the orientation is the same. However, looking at aftermarket ones they all arch towards the leafspring.

Did you check the big plate that sits on the frame in the back that everyone has a problem with that supposed to stop vibration.

Mines on the driver side on top of the rear shackle. I think it’s in your picture
I heard about it and was planning on checking if it’s loose someday. But never had that metal thunk noise when going over bumps with stock leafs. I just found icons leaf installation pdf and looking at the pictures provided, seems my shackles are at the correct orientation for oem shackles. Unlike aftermarket shackles which seems to arch towards the leaf springs. Guess I’ll just wait for the sdhq bumpstop plates to arrive and see if the problem goes away. Thanks guys.

Edit: put my hand down there and held the plate and see if it moves. It has a lot of play. Will try to find a time to remove it.
Edit 2: Actually people say its supposed to move around. Doesn't seems it moves enough to hit the frame or bed. Don't think I'm aware of any rattling issues so might just leave it there.

Some people cut it out , some loosen the bed back let’s raise it to get at the bolts. Some even like to hit bumps just to know it’s still there some claim removing it cause vibration some not . I just shimmed font and back and shot a tube of silicone in it minimal effort. It stoped it but it took a whole tube lol

It is suppose to be loose. It sets on 2 isolation rubber pads. here is a pic of one.
and your shackles on on correctly.
