Thanks guys for the compliments. Ice, we are heading down for the San Felipe Baja 250. Also plan on meeting up with the guys who are doing the Icon Baja Raptor run that started today. I had to work so we were not able to make it on that run.

Just got back from Mexico and thought I would give my impressions of the 37 Red Letter Grabbers. First of all they just look awesome which is the best feature of all. The 37’s are not for street use and for race applications only which makes them difficult to get. I have a buddy up here who hooked me up with a set.

I will start with cons:
They are very heavy and caused me to use more fuel. I was only able to average 11.5 mpg on the highway. (Cruise was set at 82.5 mph)

They are a very noisy tire. Much more than the 35 ‘s. The tread pattern looks the same but I would guess they may use a different compound than the 35’s.

Changed the gearing just a little bit and was noticeable when manually shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I had to hold the revs a little longer or shift later because it would bog down when shifting into third. Not horrible but it was noticeable.

Pro:
They look awesome!!!!

I put a total of 2000 miles on them, approx. 1500 street and about 500 dirt and they show very little wear. I also ran them on the street down there the whole time at 25 psi and still no wear.

The sidewalls are very stiff and the truck handled better in the turns when aired down. (Less sidewall flex)

They seem to roll over the smaller stuff easier making the ride smoother in the dirt.

Ran the truck pretty hard and had no clearance issues after the mods I did in preparation for them.

The most important feature, they look awesome!!!! Haha

I have to say they do look really good on your molten orange Rap! Did you find some wheel well liners for your front fenders?

Not yet. I have not run any for over a year with no issues yet. Outlaw is in the process of coming out with a set. So I may give them a try.
