Gordon does your new cab have a sun roof? And if not would this give you more room for the cage. I like the progress hope to join yall in Carson next month.
No the new cab does not have a sun roof. By getting rid of it we are able to raise the cage about two inches above our heads which will be great. One of my buddies is 6-5 and he could not fit before with a helmet on. He should be able to now with no issues.

Man your build is amazing! I'm sorry hear about the rollover but it sounds like a blessing in disguise of sorts. I have one question though, I see that you said you are a sheriff so I think you should know the answer better than anyone, is a harness legal to run on the streets in CA?

After a very long wait the last piece of the puzzle finally showed up. The progress is going to go fairly quick now I will keep updating as I get more pictures.

Sorry just saw your post. No, harnesses are not legal for street use in CA.

True their not DOT certified.
(knock on wood) I've never heard of a cop giving anyone crap for wearing them before! I've been pulled over dozens of times and never heard a word about them

I'm I seeing things right? Are you going with a solid axle up front as well?

My guess is the 2nd housings for the black truck in the pic above

AII is right about the seatbelts not being DOT approved. Here is the section: V C Section 27315 Mandatory Seat Belt Law. The way the Vehicle Code is written you pretty much cant drive down the road or modify your vehicle without violating some type of law. That being said, you never know what type of peace officer you may run into and they may or may not cite you. Since I was a kid pretty much all of my vehicles have been rolling violations and I have been stopped many times over the years for all kinds of stuff.

Also the second rear end is for the black Raptor in the background. That one is getting a Alpha One long travel front and sprung under in the back with an almost a SCORE level cage installed.

Love the update! I gather that you are going four link so my question is did you pick shocks, shock travel, spring rate for the coilovers? I am hoping to cut the back off of my truck and do a 4 link but I figured that you may have more resources to help you pick shocks and springs for your truck.
