I must of been living under a rock, today is the first time I clicked on this thread, I read every page, what a story! Definitely one of my favorite raptors on here. I am glad to hear everything worked out for you since the incident and that every one was ok, I am impressed how well the truck held up with the cage. You have put ALOT of work/time/money into your truck and I cant wait to see how it turns out, good luck with the rest of the build! The only thing I don't understand was the auction part?? I would of thought you should be the first person to buy YOUR truck back but you ended up getting it anyways so it all worked out I guess. Is that mandatory when a vehicle is considered totaled? or just in CA maybe?

So does this mean it will be ready for the Carosn 500 ? Or is that just to soon and your shooting for El Bandito

No I will be in RSV1 for the Carson run with Connor. The goal is to have it completed by Sept. 1 so we can test and tune it before the El Bandito 500.

Thanks.
Not sure if the auction is a CA only rule or not. But here the insurance company has the right to sell the vehicle in order to try and get back some of their money back after the payout.

At least you should be ready for El Bandito but you know Carson would have been a great test run. But at any rate you'll be on both runs. Looking forward to both runs, both have there pros Carson is going to be the shortest drive to starting point and El Bandito is going to be EPIC

I'm really jealous and hope the build cranks out for the Bandito. So far looks like it is moving quick.

A little more progress. They test fit the new doors and they open and close perfect. This pic also shows how well the cage did it's job.
