Anyone that uses the cruize control on the highway and can't get over 20 mpg, somthing is wrong. Tire pressure has a drastic effect on MPG, so keep that in mind.

Here in colorado, and we have lots and lots of hills, with cruize set at 65 I have never seen mine get under 20, ever...since I got it 3000 miles ago. Heck, its usually around 23-27 on a 100 mile drip...about the same in both directions, so its not "all downhil". Around town im always about 17.

For anyone that says "Don't buy a Raptor if you care about mileage"....Are you guys making unlimited money somehow? Please let me know! Any daily driver i care about mileage, I don't throw 20's out the window when driving around town! A weekend only car you mess with, yea, i can understand not caring since the amount of drive time is so low, but a daily driver?.......yea, good mileage is important, buys me steaks on Friday night!

I'm usually between 16 and 17 with a 70/30 mix of city/highway. I recently made 2 three hour trips (each way) on back to back days for my son's soccer games. I used the adaptive cruise for most of it (60mph avg) and I got 18.1 by next fill up so it was likely 20/80 mix of city/highway on that tank.

The Mileage on the cluster is not accurate. You have to manually check mileage when you fill your tank to get the accurate reading. You will be surprised it can be a big difference.

+1 ... the colder temps dropped my PSI to around 36 from 38 and my MPG's dropped from around 16.2 to around 14.8-15.2. I got it back up to 38 and am back around 16.0 MPS (80 city / 20 why) plus minus .2

I think God himself may have blessed your raptor. I had my cruise set coming home to San Diego from Disneyland in a Ford Escape with a 2.0 Ecoboost and just managed 27mpg

I am very thankful for it =)

The display seems within 1 mpg +/- when i work the numbers at the pump when i fill up, so i guess i got lucky.

I think the "secrets to it are: Keep Tire pressure at Max, no roof lightbars or such that cause extreme drag, use cruize control whenever possible....i use it most of the day, even on streets around town if im going more than a mile or so, and most importantly take it easy when accelerating from a stop. I save my romping on it to when im in the dirt.
