I tried a tank of 93 just to see if it made a difference. I didn't gain any mpg and I couldn't notice any difference in performance, so I'll be sticking with 87.

Wilson, do you think that's what I got in Nebraska? It was "super unleaded" 89 octane that was ten cents cheaper than the regular unleaded. I got 11.3 mpg on that tank.

probably but I don't like e-10 it's not quite enough to make the blend work the best unless it's in the 91 making it 93. IMO e-30 is the best blend for the buck I have not tried anything higher just becose we have blender pumps that make the e-30 so it's easy. + i'm getting 13.5 average mpg with e-30. I could get better but I like hammering the pedal. I could get worse but you can't always have the pedal hammered.

If you've been running 87 for quite a while and then tried 93 you would have to do at a battery disconnect and drive at least 300 miles, before you would notice anything.

300 miles being a full PCM learning cycle.

Even Before getting Supercharged, I always used 93 sometimes I'd get stuck and have to use 89 or 87 and it would ping.

91 octane 5 star tune I usually run 93 octane and get between 11.5-12mpg. You guys claiming 20+ mpg are full of shit, end of story. Maybe for a short stretch of 55mph driving but no way anyone gets over 20mpg for an entire tank. Hold on let me go reset my MPG meter while going down hill on the highway and post a pic...I can play too.
